How can God use seemingly insignificant people to accomplish extraordinary things for His glory? Preaching from 1 Samuel 16:1–13, Pastor Spencer examines God's unexpected choice of David as Israel's future king, revealing how His plans often defy human wisdom and outward appearances. Through David's humble beginnings and anointing, we see that God looks beyond what man sees, values a heart devoted to Him, and uses even the ordinary seasons of our lives to prepare us for His greater purposes and the advancement of His kingdom.
